WHO IS THE CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST?

Holy Temple Church of God in Christ is a member of the International Church of God in Christ, Inc. (COGIC) denomination.

The Church of God in Christ, Inc. (COGIC) is a Christian organization in the Holiness-Pentecostal tradition. It is the largest Pentecostal denomination in the United States and is led by Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake, Sr.

The membership of the Church is predominantly African-American, although there are millions of adherents of various backgrounds and cultures from around the world. The Church has congregations in over 112 different countries. 


Amongst the Church's many jurisdictions, Holy Temple Church of God in Christ is a part of the Texas Northwest Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, under the leadership of jurisdictional prelate, Bishop William H. Watson III.
